If you prefer to work with the assistance of the WorkWise Kauai staff in Lihu‘e, please call, fax or use our online form to send us your job listings needs. Our staff can assist you with putting together a job listing that will get the best results.

Here’s How the Process Works
1. Complete the Form
Complete the online form or come in to the WorkWise Kauai One-Stop Job Center to complete the job posting application and submit it to the WorkWise Kauai staff.

2. Listing the Job Order
When we receive your job listing, a counselor reviews it and may call you if any questions arise. A job order is then entered into our computerized system at the Workforce Development Division office, listing a summary of duties, work hours, location, pay rate, and any other job-related data provided by you or your company representative. Job orders will also automatically be entered in Hire Net Hawaii

3. Viewing the Job Order
When the job orders appear in our job search system, applicants may review them through printed copies and on computers at any partner location. Applicants may select jobs, which interest them, and a counselor will review work background to determine suitability for the jobs with the applicant before referring them to the employer to apply. It is at this point that the applicant may learn the company name, address, and application procedure.

4. Matching Procedure
When the job listing is received, Workforce Development Division interviewers will conduct computerized job matching to identify suitable applicants for each new job order. Computer-matched applicants will be contacted by phone, email or mail and encouraged to apply.

5. Follow Up Procedures
The WorkWise Kauai staff will call you twice-monthly until the position is filled to verify referral results and check progress on the job posting. To keep track of referred applicants, we may ask you to verify applicant names or complete a brief referral verification form.
